Chat Line
The idea here is to
bring gossip of the day and late breaking news from the Welsh Harp.... add the
dairy with your own sailing chat line too...

- 4 April -
I have added three maps to the web site to help you find us. Heading north from
the A405 North Circular, even if you miss the turn, watch out for McDonald's on
the right and the street is next left following, just in front of the terrace
of shops. Go to the end and you will find the gates to the site on the right.

- 7 March - At
approximately 13.00hrs today the sluice gates were finally closed to allow the
water to return in the Welsh Harp reservoir. It is expected that the lake will
(weather permitting) take approx 3 days to fill. We expect to be fully
operational as a boat station i.e. all safety boats back on water etc. by the
end of week ending Sat 16th March.

Monday 25th February
2002 13.45hrs - Cold, wet and decidedly not nice, but that's the
view outside from the balcony, and its certainly not like that in here. The
contractors are still working on the dam wall and as you can see we still have
no water (well apart from the little stream and the rain). It looks like they
are still working to the plan of filling the lake back up by the end of
February, that'll be just in time for our level 2 power course. If so the grey
RIB in the foreground is ours for the use of, and sports a 75hp motor, to shade
the two dories, Champ and Viking we have. Over 16? Still places left!
Serious fun!
See the snap.
